Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) - Radiocarbon dating

Radiocarbon concentration measurements can be performed exploiting the dedicated AMS (Accelerator Mass Spectrometry) beam line, installed at the 3 MV tandem accelerator of LABEC (INFN-CHNet in Florence). The laboratory is also fully equipped to provide complete sample preparation. The laboratory is also fully equipped to provide complete sample preparation. The laboratory is thus a complete radiocarbon facility, which can support users starting from the beginning of the measurement, from the choice and/or the collection of samples to be measured, up to the data analysis and the results interpretation in their original context.
