IPERION HSIntegrated Platform for the European Research Infrastructure
An event to promote Heritage Science research

The international symposium “Instruments at the service of Heritage Stakeholders” will be held on  October 23, 2019 in Paris, in the Michel-Ange Auditorium of the École du Louvre.

This international symposium is for teams of French and European researchers who study ancient materials, art history, conservation science, palaeontology, as well as institutional and political stakeholders.

The day will be part of a wider event called “Heritage Science Europe”. This event aims to promote Heritage Science research conducted at the European level and the instruments that enable us to work together: the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage (JPI CH), the research project IPERION CH and the future European infrastructure E-RIHS.

“Heritage Science Europe” will bring together different audiences at the Louvre for a number of events:

  • the scientific community around this symposium on October 23 and “Leonardo da Vinci : the experience of art” on October 25,
  • the IPERION CH consortium around a work meeting on the October 24,
  • the general public will be able to meet Heritage Scientists and stakeholders at the International Fair of Cultural Heritage from October 25 to 27.

Admission to the symposiums is free but registration is mandatory due to limited space. You can register on hse2019.sciencesconf.org/. The presentations will be held in French and in English. Translation will be provided in both languages.
