IPERION HSIntegrating Platforms for the European Research Infrastructure ON Heritage Science

The University of Bologna (UNIBO) is involved in IPERIONCH through the Microchemistry and Microscopy Art Diagnostic Laboratory (M2ADL) which operates in the field of Chemistry for Cultural Heritage. In particular, the research work is focused on the development of new analytical methods and procedures for the characterization and spatial location of organic and inorganic compounds.

Furthermore M2ADL is fully involved in didactic activities such as the coordination of the University of Bologna international Master degree (two year duration) course in Science for the conservation‐restoration of cultural heritage (SCORE) and it has coordinated the first European PhD in Science for conservation (EPISCON) generously funded by the VI FP EU Marie‐Curie programme from 2005 to 2009.
