User meeting events
IPERION HS and E-RIHS launched a new series of webinars, dedicated to the IPERION HS TNA access users experience: User Meeting events.
During the user meetings, the user group leaders of granted projects showcase their research and share their experience related to IPERION HS facilities and archives. The audience can interact with the users using Q&A function of the Zoom platform.
The user meeting presentations are typically 30 min long, followed by Q&A.

User meeting 1: Ina Reiche and Thomas Romain
The first User Meeting event in the #HSAcademy series was held on May 3rd, 2023, from 3 to 4 pm. The User Group Leaders of two successful IPERION HS TNA access projects shared their experience related to the FIXLAB and ARCHLAB services. Dr. Ina Reiche presented the FIXLAB project “PIXE analysis on the track of the “LION MAN” and Dr. Romain Thomas the ARCHLAB project “The AORUM: the Analysis of Gold and its Uses as a painting material in 16th-17th c. Europe”.
User meeting 4: Teresa Palomar
The 4th IPERION HS Users meeting was held online on February 13th, 2024 at 3 pm (CET) using the ZOOM platform. The User Group Leader Teresa Palomar shared her experience related to the TransNational Access (TNA) projects of access to IPERION HS Molab services. She presented her project on the characterization of historical glass GRANJA, with the part of scientific analysis implemented with the support of IPERION HS services.
User meeting 2: Lucrezia Milillo and Marya Albrecht
The second User Meeting event in the #HSAcademy series was held on June 13th, 2023, from 3 to 4 pm. The User Group Leaders of two successful IPERION HS TNA access projects shared their experience related to the FIXLAB and ARCHLAB services.Lucrezia Milillo presented the FIXLAB project “Meaningful Materials in the Khipu Code” and Marya Albrecht presented the ARCHLAB project “Conservation of the Madonna Enthroned by Joan Reixach”.
User meeting 5: Raquel Freixas-Jambert, Cristina Ruiz-Recasens and Marta Oriola-Folch
The 5th IPERION HS Users meeting was held online on march 12th, 2024 at 3 pm (CET) using the ZOOM platform. Raquel Freixas-Jambert, Cristina Ruiz-Recasens and Marta Oriola-Folch presented their MOLAB project: Non-destructive identification of bromoil, oil and transfer photographs.
User meeting 3: Vanessa Antunes and Diego Quintero
The 3rd IPERION HS Users meeting was held online on September 12th, 2023 at 3 pm (Rome time zone) using the ZOOM platform. The User Group Leaders Vanessa Antunes and Diego Quintero will share their experience related to the TransNational Access (TNA) projects of access to IPERION HS facilities and archives, ARCHLAB and FIXLAB, respectively. Vanessa Henriques Antunes presented the ARCHLAB project “ZAINTIBERIA: Unraveling Zurbarán’s Influence on Iberian Art Techniques” and Diego Iván Quintero Balbás the FIXLAB project “Linear and Non-linear Laser Technologies to Study Gelatin-Based Historical Objects: the LANGE”.
