Doctoral Summer Schools
What it is
The IPERION HS Doctoral Summer School provides a learning multidisciplinary interactive experience in the field of Heritage Science. Each year it will be organized by different institutions on different topics.
Theoretical and technical lectures will be imparted by a wide range of international experts in the field of Heritage Science. All lectures are intended to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art as well as specific details of their topic.
For whom
The IPERION HS Doctoral Summer School is open to postgraduate and PhD students, post-docs, conservators-restorers and scientists working in conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.
IDSS will be aimed at potential users of the IPERION HS trans-national access (TNA) program.
Participants must be keenly motivated to actively participate and must be available for the whole duration of the summer school. All sessions will be conducted in English. Therefore fluency in written and spoken English is essential. A certificate of attendance will be provided to all participants.
Where and when
Once a year, an IPERION HS Doctoral Summer School (IDSS) will be organized in different European countries
