The new platform for rapid and transparent publishing
The European Commission has finally released ORE, the Open Research Europe platform dedicated to the fast and APC free publication, and open peer review for research stemming from Horizon 2020 funding across all subject areas.
The platform makes it easy for Horizon 2020 beneficiaries to comply with the open access terms of their funding and offers researchers a publishing venue to share their results and insights rapidly and facilitate open, constructive research discussion.
The platform, which represents a huge step towards Open Acess in science:
- Enables researchers to publish any research they wish to share, supporting reproducibility, transparency and impact

Uses an open research publishing model: publication within days of submission, followed by open invited peer review

Includes citations to all supporting data and materials, enabling reanalyses, replication and reuse
