IPERION HS project (Integrating Platforms for the European Research Infrastructure on Heritage Science), funded by European Union, H2020-INFRAIA-2019-1, received a 6-month extension and will end on March 31st, 2024.
The project aims at establishing and operating an integrating activity for a distributed pan-European research infrastructure, E-RIHS, opening key national research facilities of recognised excellence in Heritage Science. 23 countries, 24 national nodes, 67 organizations will work together to better understand and protect our heritage.
The implementation was greatly damaged by the COVID-19 emergency at the beginning. The project started in April 2020 and originally was planned to end by September 2023 (36 months).
