Opening of Junior professor for the Sciences & Engineering for Cultural Heritage Chair
The SATIE laboratory (UMR 8029) is opening a position for a Junior Professor in multidimensional instrumentation for Heritage Science at Cergy Paris University for an initial duration of 4 years. This Chair aims at fostering the training of French Heritage Scientists, whose knowledge of both experimental and data science will contribute to a better understanding and conservation of Cultural Heritage. This innovative approach will require the development of high-level transdisciplinary expertise that integrates the knowledge of artworks, know-how in material science and analytical systems, and OF digital developments. This Chair will build upon the structuring and strategic projects of the CY Cergy Paris University (CYU) and the ISITE CY Initiative. These projects include national and international collaborations through the Fondation des Sciences du Patrimoine (FSP), the EUR Humanités, Création et Patrimoine, the ESPADON project and E-RIHS.
