Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC) is pleased to announce GlazeArt2024 to be held in Lisbon, on February 22-23, 2024.
The Glazed Ceramics in Cultural Heritage (GlazeArt) conferences held in 2015 and 2018 aimed to promote the dissemination and to discuss new results of research studies on glazed ceramics cultural heritage. They brought together researchers with diverse academic backgrounds from both the Humanities and Science fields, covering various aspects ranging from art and technical art history, analytical characterisations, decay, conservation, production, socio-cultural contexts and other intangible aspects of glazed ceramics.
The Conference is a networking activity of the transnational research consortium IPERION HS and is organized in partnership by Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC), the Portuguese National AZULEJO Museum and the Vicarte Research Unit of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal).
