The 6th HS Academy Lecture “Sirius – a powerful tool to study ancient materials with synchrotron light” will be held online on February 16th 2023, at 3 pm (Rome time).
Lecture #06 is part of the “Current Topics in Heritage Science” series and will be delivered by Verônica C. Teixeira on Thursday, February 16th, at 3 pm (Rome time). Verônica C. Teixeira is a beamline scientist of the Coherent X-ray Nanoprobe beamline (CARNAUBA) at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory: Sirius, part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (Brazil). In this lecture, she will present an overview about Sirius, its construction, the challenges around this project, and the potentialities of using Sirius light in several areas, emphasizing the studies of Cultural Heritage.
